Monitor has four categories of caps: Ventilated attaches to well casing with set screw. Vermin Resistant uses an o-ring and gasket with screened vent to make a sanitary seal. Premium Watertight seals against the well casing with a compression gasket. Premium Watertight with Screened Air Vent has a protected screened vent. Individual state codes dictate the style of cap required on potable wells. Check with your local pump installer or well driller.
